The Well Doncaster team want to gain an understanding into what it means to ‘age well’ in Doncaster. To do this, they are exploring how lived experience storytelling can support this aim, and how stories can be used to identify gaps in provision, ideas for service change and much more.

Our Role

People’s Voice Media has delivered lived experience storytelling training rooted in the practice of Community Reporting to residents and professionals involved in the Well Doncaster project, equipping them with the skills to gather and share stories. This activity embeds storytelling skills into the Well Doncaster project, ensuring that the group of people trained can continue using storytelling to support the project in the future.
