As part of the Greater Manchester Public Service Reform (GMPSR), the strategy for supporting the most at-need communities has been the adoption of place-based interventions (PBI). This way of working has seen the development of neighbourhood hubs and teams aimed at supporting residents with multiple needs.
Our Role
People’s Voice Media and our Greater Manchester network were commissioned to work with specific PBI teams to gather insight into the lives of residents in the area. These insights formed the basis of a report and were used as part of a Conversation of Change event, aimed at looking at new directions for public services. During this period we gathered over 250 stories and trained 57 new Community Reporters across different areas of Greater Manchester.
