Overview:
Our Voices explored how story curation and mobilisation approaches could support social change and civic education in Europe. The project brought together 6 non-governmental organisations working in informal education and community development to develop tools and resources to support the use of stories in change-making processes.
People’s Voice Media co-ordinated this pan-European consortium to deliver this project. Funded by Erasmus+, we produced a toolkit on story curation methods, designed and delivered a training-the-trainer programme, wrote a state of play report and created a resource bank to support others working in this field. The project also began to develop a Community of Practice of organisations and professionals working in this field that led to future collaborations and applied research projects
Impact:
- 25 organisations from across Europe engaged in the project, leading to the formation of a Community of Practice
- 5 dissemination events held in the UK and Germany, engaging with over 230 peoplhttps://test.peoplesvoicemedia.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/DigitalCuratorToolkitFinal.pdfe working in education, community development and social change
