Overview:

Co-Production Collective teamed up with People’s Voice Media, the Community Reporter network, EPPI Centre, Gobby and Curators of Change to explore the question – What is the value of co-production? The intention of this work was to make the case for the value of co-production for individuals, organisations and society. The project helped people to understand and communicate the value of co-production in their work and life.

People’s Voice Media led a work package that focused on the lived and tacit experiences of people involved in co-production, including experts-by-experience, facilitators of co-production and professionals (i.e. healthcare workers, researchers etc.) who are using co-production in their work. We spoke to over 100 people to gather co-production experiences using Community Reporting as our digital storytelling method. We also range a range of sense-making and learning sessions to help us to co-produce the findings.

Impact:
  • 100+ stories gathered
  • 160+ people directly engaged in the storytelling or workshops
  • 4500+ views of the stories gathered
