Overview:

People’s Voice Media have been working with LVET and It’s All About People in Lincolnshire to train partners across health, social care, faith and community sectors in the skills of Community Reporting. The aim is to build a library of people’s experiences that will inform the development of health and care in Lincolnshire. But more than that, the first cohort of Community Reporters from Lincolnshire have all undertaken “Train-the-Trainer”, meaning that they are now able to train people in the Community Reporting method themselves. They have since held their own open training sessions with members of the community, meaning that Lincolnshire’s capacity to use Community Reporting has been expanded.

We have built an insight engine to allow Lincolnshire to gather and use the rich lived experience information held within the stories to improve the health and wellbeing services in the county. Together we have also held knowledge sharing events to ensure the stories are heard by decision-makers and other people with the power to take action and create change.
