Overview:

The project launched in Autumn 2025 with a cohort of young people from Army of Kindness in Rochdale. 10 young people have been trained and are currently using their new skills to collect stories about racial and religious discrimination in their area. In early 2026, we hope to welcome a group of young people from West Midlands Police Cadets. As new young people are trained, they will become members of our new Young Community Reporter Network, with regular online get-togethers and training. This project is all about giving young people the skills to advocate for change on the issues that matter to them, and we can’t wait to see where that takes us over the next 3 years!
