Understanding Racism in Co-Production

Understanding Racism in Co-Production explored the experiences of individuals from racialised backgrounds involved in co-production. The work shed light on the unique challenges, inequities, and painful realities that emerge in these spaces.

Stories For Change

Stories for Change was an opportunity for people to share their lived experiences of structural inequalities in a language and format which encourages more people to discuss the issues described in the stories.

Black Country Integrated Care System REND Programme

The aim of the Black Country REND programme was to increase the number of people from under-served communities taking part in health and care research. The project elevated trusted voices and existing connections between people and communities that face the poorest health outcomes and local Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) groups and organisations.

Community Reporting Hackathon (May 2024)

A hackathon is an event where people come together to collaborate intensively on solving problems, creating innovative solutions, or developing new ideas. They foster creativity, experimentation, and rapid development of ideas.

Camerados

Camerados believe that the answer to our problems is each other and are growing a movement of people helping each other through tough times. People's Voice Media are their learning partner, supporting the movement to learn and grow.

Value of Co-Pro

Co-Production Collective has teamed up with People’s Voice Media and the Community Reporter network to explore the question – What is the value of co-production? The intention of this work was to make the case for the value of co-production for individuals, organisations and society.

HOME?

The Home? Heritage project focused on the collection, curation, and dissemination of the lived experiences of people seeking sanctuary and people who have migrated to Northern England from the 2010s to 2024.

Learning As You Scale

Learning As You Scale focuses on supporting people working on social innovations which are scaling in complex change environments and are often addressing ‘wicked’ problems within the social sphere.

CONTINUE

CONTINUE supported young people experiencing social exclusion to tackle the specific challenges of post-COVID times in terms of staying connected and integrated into European communities.

EUARENAS

EUARENAS explored cities as arenas of political innovation and examined how they can strengthen deliberative and participatory democracy at a city-level. This mixed-methodological research project was a European partnership between academia, local government and citizen-focused NGOs.

Narratives of Impact

Digital storytelling has become a popular method for curating communities and has been thriving as a tool for social transformation and social justice. Narratives of Impact (NOI) saw storytelling as not only being a powerful tool for creating social change, but also a tool for measuring the impact and change.

COVID Conversations

This programme of work started in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic when members of the Community Reporter network started to gather people’s experience of the pandemic as a means of connecting in difficult times.

Our Voices

Our Voices explored how story curation and mobilisation approaches could support social change and civic education in Europe. The project brought together 6 non-governmental organisations working in informal education and community development to develop tools and resources to support the use of stories in change-making processes.

CoSIE

CoSIE supported the creation of collaborative partnerships between service providers (i.e. public sector agencies, third sector organizations, private companies) and service beneficiaries (i.e. citizens). Its goal was to research, through practical application processes, how public services can be enhanced via co-creation.

INNOSI

InnoSI used multidisciplinary research on innovative ways of implementing and financing social welfare. The project conducted macro and micro-level research on social investment policies and initiatives, using mixed-method case studies with strong citizen voice elements, to support the development of policy-focused findings.
