Partnering with the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Creative Minds and the Mental Health Museum, the aim of the project is to recruit and train people in how to use Community Reporting storytelling methods to gather oral histories and contribute towards developing an oral history archive at the Mental Health Museum. The project also involves the development of an online museum experience.

Our Role

People’s Voice Media have delivering Community Reporting training and storytelling activities with local residents and the Mental Health Museum to equip them with the skills to gather lived experience stories of mental health services. Behind-the-scenes we’ve been developing a new website for the Mental Health Museum, were these and other archive elements can be displayed and accessed digitally.
