Making it Real is a framework for how to do personalised care and support. It’s for people working in health, adult social care, housing, and for people who access services. It is an easy to use, jargon-free set of personalised principles that focus on what matters to people. It supports co-production between people, commissioners and providers.

Our Role

People’s Voice Media worked with TLAP and the National Co-production Advisory Group to train people who access various health and social care provision, to use Community Reporting methods to tell their own insight stories about these experiences. With the group, we analysed these stories and produced a set of core findings from them that were edited into a set of extracts and used as part of co-production/participatory workshops. We also created a short film that summarises the stories and their key messages.
