Addaction provides recovery support services for people with drug and alcohol addictions. There services in South-West England have received SIB funding which has changed the ways in which they deliver them, and Manchester Metropolitan University via its PERU department are evaluating the impact of the SIB funding on the service. The evaluation has a mixed methodological approaching, combining both qualitative and quantitative measure.

Our Role

People’s Voice Media is part of the qualitative evaluation work and is using Community Reporting to gather people’s experience of the service and their recovery journeys, as well as staff experience. These stories will be used as part of a co-evaluation approach to identifying the key learning from the services at different stages and support the frontline practitioners to build on the work they are doing and make any necessary changes.
