Working with you
Social Licence
Community Reporter Social Licence
We have been developing our Community Reporter programme over a number of years and felt that we had a programme that really worked - at giving local communities a voice, at supporting people to tell their stories in whatever way they wanted to tell them, and giving people the chance to challenge perspectives and describe their own realities. We feel that offering this programme to other organisations to deliver under licence is the perfect way of extending the positive impact of the programme, whilst benefitting licensee holders in the process. The four main features of the social licence:

1. Ready Made Materials:
We provide you with a full training pack of materials and a Train the Trainer programme so that you can deliver your training ‘off the peg’ . All the reporters are acceredited by the Institute of Community Reporters
2. Income Generation Plan:
We work with you on devising an income generation strategy that is a ‘best fit’ for your organisation and explores how you can make the licence work for you financially. This may be by looking at value-added components to your existing activities or using our experience or the experience of other Social Licensees to support you to operate in new markets.
3. Networking Across UK and Europe:
We host biannual Editorial Board meetings for licensee holders creating opportunities for sharing ideas and business across the European Community Reporter wide network. We are particularly keen to develop a Wikinomics model of trade across the network for the benefit of all licensee holders.
4. Ability to cross trade your products and services with other Social Licensees in order to create a networked organisation that shares idea's and develops innovative solutions
We have over 30 social Licensees across the UK and Europe which includes Universities, National and Local Third sector organisations and NGO's.
Cost for the licence varies depending on the size of organisation and the first year fee includes a 3 day train trainer programme.
