People’s Voice Media is a not-for-profit organisation working with many communities throughout the North West; dedicated to using social media to get communities talking to each other, and empowering people to ensure their voices are heard.
People's Voice Media undertakes a variety of training based at community venues. This training consists of:
- ICT drop in
- Specialist media activities including photography and community radio
- Level 2 training in ICT and Media
- Community Reporters programme
People’s Voice Media is currently setting up a register of freelance tutors. (If you wish this to be on a self-employed basis you must be able to provide evidence of your self employed status and insurance.)
Rate: £18 - £22 per hour
Hours: flexible

Media Freelancers Wanted!
People’s Voice Media is a not-for-profit organisation working with many communities throughout the North West. We are dedicated to using social media to get communities talking to each other, and empowering people to ensure their voices are heard.
We have a number of paid part time postions and freelance opportunities for experienced media practitioners who have experience in any of the following areas:
- Using social media tools such as podcasting, video or blogging
- Able to develop content on mobile technology
- Able to work with individual and groups to develop content using mobile technology or other types of low level technology
- Able to produce promotional DVD's
- Able to identify stories and distribute them through social networking sites
- Able to manage and develop community websites
