Organisation case study

We have established a strong working relationship with the Stroke Association in Salford, offering media training workshops to stroke survivors.

This is an extremely fruitful relationship as we're both committed to offering the best possible experience to participants, as they seek to re-build their confidence after the inevitable trauma of having a stroke. We were trained by the Stroke Association to ensure we understood the particular challenges that stroke survivors could face.

Not only have the participants created powerful films documenting the realities of their own lives, but some members have now become volunteer mentors to other new learners and are volunteering as reporters within the Stroke Association too.
